2.             Introduction

This project is located in appropriate hill cisco 926 4 layer building,room is the original form of air conditioning refrigeration air cooling,underfloor air supply, equipment room inside the channel 8 channel (cold), coldand hot channel did not isolation, hot and cold winds generated mixed flow, airconditioning cooling effect is not good, high energy consumption, PUE valuehigher than 2.5. Now retrofit of computer room, including hot and cold channelisolation (install cold pool), adjust the floor air supply outlet, increase themachine cabinets baffle and measures. After transforming for room brings asignificant reduction in energy consumption, PUE to around 1.8. Project briefis as follows:

4.             Installation

1、Installation steps

1.1First in the morning, before the class meeting (on the day of thedivision of labor and time arrangement, the matters needing attention, etc).

1.2The rack shift, protection, stacking

1.3At the top of the lamps and lanterns of dismantle and bridgedismantling and displacement of the cross bar

1.4Seal between cabinet and cabinet

1.5Cold channel construction

1.6Keel structures (if we have seats deviation need the reaming, nospark operation, need flannelette preparation, adsorption particles)

2、Safety Precautions
2.1 the installation personnel need to have proper use of personal protectiveequipment and safety precautions, and have sufficient self-protectionawareness.
2.2 When entering the construction site, it is a must to wear a helmet. It isnot allowed to wear slippers or with barefoot. Women are forbidden to wearskirts.
2.3 Wires, electrical equipment and wiring must be well insulated. Wires shallnot be tied together with metal objects.

2.4 The motor has to be connected to the ground as required and set asingle switch. In case of a temporary power outage or shutdown time or resttime, make sure that nobody else can approach the motor.
2.5 After the optimizer installation is completed, the garbage needs to becleaned up. There should be no debris in the cabinet. The power distributioncabinet needs to be clean and well-insulated, to ensure the normal operation ofthe equipment.

Cisco SHN15 4F Lab Cold AisleContainmentInstallation Projectwas completed on April18th 2015. The containmenthas been put into use, now the equipment of the system are analyzed in theacceptance, acceptance conclusion is as follows:

1, since the equipment put into use, safe,stable and reliable operation, function index meet the design technicalrequirements and meet the requirements of the contract signed between bothparties;

2, equipment operation intuitive, convenient;

3, system device can automatically open the topwindowswhen fire alarm;

4, by reduce the 4 CRAC, afterboth parties together and testing, the system has remarkable energy savingeffect, greatly reduce the energy consumption and system integrated powersaving rate of40%on average.
